Also notable bouffants events/things I have noted today are The Beyonce Experience Live DVD (we all love Beyonce, don’t we?) and the Cookie Monster.

In fact, I am wearing my Cookie Monster t-shirt today in honour of the recent 40th anniversary of Sesame Street. I like to randomly put my hand up my t-shirt and make CM’s mouth move and gobble up whatever he fancies (it’s usually cookies but he is partial to a custard cream every now and then).

However, this blog is about everything that is BOUFFANTS (adj.).

The word, as crazy as it may sound, was first coined when I lacked an adjective to describe just how amazingly awesome my first dog was.

I was young at the time and decided that if you said ‘beautiful’ as bootiful, then further break it down you would eventually (somehow) get to bouffants. The word stuck and it is now used to describe that certain little something that you see and think is, well, you don’t know what you think it is but you know you like it and it’s cool/cute/extraordinary/etc.

In this blog I will further educate you on the use of bouffants and show you the path to finding all the random things in life that are so amazing that you will understand why I needed to make up a new adjective to describe them.
